Ijazah Institute

Ijazah Institute

The classical sciences, learned one idea at a time.

Tajwid, hadith terminology, and fiqh with its legal theory — taught the way they are actually taught: slowly, precisely, and with the disagreements left in.

How it works

Built for understanding, not for scores

One idea per screen

Lessons move a single concept at a time — a definition, an articulation point, a condition of authenticity — with room to read it properly before anything is asked of you.

The explanation is the lesson

Every question reveals its reasoning after you answer, right or wrong. The point is never the tick; it is understanding why the other options fail.

Disagreement, stated plainly

Where the four schools differ, the lesson says so and gives each position its actual argument. You are being taught a discipline, not a party line.

Your work is never lost

Progress is kept in your browser from the first lesson and saved to your account the moment you sign in — including a session you started on any other Islamic Research Network site.

A note on what this is

An ijāzah is a licence to transmit, granted by a teacher who has heard you recite or read back what they taught you. It cannot be issued by a website, and this one does not pretend otherwise.

What these courses give you is the map: the vocabulary, the categories, and the reasoning, so that when you sit with a teacher you already know what you are being corrected on.
